Brownies are a firm favorite in Hatty’s Kitchen. A rich tasting recipe and will definitely be a hit with all the chocoholics in your life!
1/2 cup International Collection Coconut Oil
1/3 cup Organic cocoa powder
1/2 cup Organic coconut milk
1/2 cup Ground almonds
2 tbps Honey
2 tbps Almond butter
1 Large egg
Brownies are a firm favorite in Hatty’s Kitchen. We have experimented with lots of flavors, different recipes and cooking styles. However, brownies are not the healthiest of treats but we have found a recipe that uses a number of healthy ingredients. This recipe is suitable for vegetarians, great for a paleo diet and gluten free.
Preheat the oven to 220oC / Gas 7.
Grease a 20cm baking tin with a little coconut oil.
Mix the coconut oil, cocoa powder and egg in a mixing bowl. Then add the rest of the ingredients to the mixing bowl. Mix well and pour into the prepared baking tin.
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until a skewer inserted into the centre comes out clean. Remove from the oven and allow to cool. Slice and serve.
