Method
- Dice the onion into the smallest pieces you can manage. Heat the International Collection Grapeseed Oil in a frying pan and add the onions cooking until soft to touch.
- In a bowl mix the ground beef with the cinnamon, chilli flakes, garlic powder, hot paprika, cumin, salt and pepper.
- Add the cooked onions to the meat and spices, mix thoroughly.
- Once the mixture is well combined it’s time to shape the kofta into finger shaped patties. This quantity of ground beef should make 8 koftas.
- Cook the patties in a heavy skillet, until cooked through and evenly browned. Avoid turning to much as they can crumble.
- Serve with salad and rice or in a flatbread.
